We pride ourselves on being experts in our local market, and getting out to tour homes together is one of the ways we stay ahead of the game! From keeping up with what’s hitting the market (and what’s coming off) to getting a better feel for current home values, these tours help us stay informed and better serve our clients.

Everyone wants the lower interest rate… but what if getting that lower rate means paying significantly more for the home?

A higher-rate market can sometimes come with less competition, more negotiating power, seller concessions, inspection flexibility, and the ability to actually take your time finding the right home.

On the flip side, a lower-rate market can bring more buyers into the market, multiple offers, waived contingencies, and homes selling for well over asking.

The goal isn’t necessarily to time the market perfectly — it’s to understand the market you’re buying in and make the numbers work for you.

And remember: you can refinance an interest rate. You can’t refinance the price you paid for the house. 🏡

That’s why having a strategy matters. That is where we come in!

Sloped driveway? Making sure water has a proper path away from the house is key to keeping it out of the garage and away from the foundation. A little attention to drainage can help prevent a much bigger headache later! 🏡
