🚋🍦 Boise friends, I found another Treasure Valley gem!

After a hike at Camel's Back Park, Presley and I walked over to Dee's Ice Cream Trolley in Boise's Historic North End, and it was the perfect way to end our adventure.

Located on the corner of 13th & Brumback, this beautifully renovated vintage trolley is packed with charm and history. Even sweeter, it's named after the owner's mom, Dee (middle name). ❤️

Inside you'll find nine rotating ice cream flavors from The STIL every day, including dairy free options, plus sundaes, affogatos, and their delicious warm sourdough brownies. 🤤

One of their most popular flavors is Bake Sale, and if you're not sure what to order, this is the one they recommend. It's loaded with gluten free cookie dough and brownie pieces, then finished with a rich chocolate drizzle. 🍪🍫

Presley and I tried Glass Slipper and Pucker Up Buttercup, and both were incredible!

The trolley itself is absolutely adorable, and the outdoor seating creates the perfect spot to relax under the trees and soak up the North End atmosphere.

Today feels heavier for so many. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a day off work. It’s a reminder that freedom came at a cost paid for by brave men and women who never made it home.

I can’t help but also think about the families left behind…the spouses carrying grief, the parents missing their children, the kids growing up with an empty seat at the table. Their sacrifice matters too. ❤️

To every service member who gave their life for this country, thank you will never feel like enough. We remember you today with deep gratitude and respect.

Praying for comfort over the families carrying loss today and thanking God for the courage and sacrifice that shaped this nation. 🇺🇸✨

To the moms carrying more than anyone realizes…I see you. 🩷

The moms staying up late worrying about everyone else while running on empty.
The moms working, cleaning, cooking, comforting, planning, remembering every little detail, and somehow still showing up with love.
The moms holding families together through exhaustion, heartbreak, financial stress, sickness, grief, and seasons nobody else fully understands.

Mothers sacrifice in ways that often go unseen.
You give pieces of yourself daily.
Your sleep. Your body. Your emotions. Your time. Your dreams. Your peace.
And somehow…you keep going.

Whether you’re a married mom, single mom, grieving mom, bonus mom, spiritual mom, exhausted mom, or a mom barely making it through today…you are worthy of honor.

And for those missing their mom today…I know this day can ache in ways words cannot fully explain. Grief has a way of sitting beside joy at the same table. If today feels heavy, you are not alone. 🤍🪽
