Standing watch over the community garden is one of Longview’s oldest residents. This towering tulip poplar likely began its life before the Civil War.
Long before the first homes, trails, and garden rows, this tree was already rooted here, quietly shaping the landscape that surrounds us today.
At Longview, the land comes first. We build around the trees, preserve the forest, and allow the natural landscape to remain the heart of the experience.
After standing watch over generations on this land, it now watches over our community as we put down roots of our own.
