Our survey crew was on site this week putting their skills—and a whole lot of stakes—to work!

📌 Lot staked with 20’ offsets
🛡️ Guardrails staked
💡 Light posts staked

Basically, if it needed to know exactly where it belongs, our crew was there to tell it. 😂

Because when it comes to construction, close enough isn’t really a surveying term. 😉

🌊 Here’s the reveal!

If you guessed our survey crew was spending the weekend on the water… you were right! 🚤📐

Last week, Kevin, Vin, Tom, Adam and our President, Ed, enjoyed a sunny September site visit on the Westport River, collecting soundings for an upcoming project. ☀️🌊

Fun fact: A sounding survey measures the depth of the water at specific locations, helping create a detailed picture of the riverbed and underwater conditions. 📏

And don’t worry… Gilligan and the Skipper brought our crew safely back from their three-hour tour! 😂🚤

A beautiful day, a great crew, and a pretty great office for the day!

🏌️‍♂️🔥 FLASHBACK to last year’s East Bridgewater Guns & Hoses Golf Tournament! 🚒👮‍♂️

PMP Consulting was proud to sponsor this great event and had an awesome day out on the course supporting our local first responders! We’re always happy to be part of a day that brings the community together for a great cause.

And today… we’re back! ⛳️

A few of our PMP crew are ready to put their surveying skills to the test in the Longest Drive competition. After all, we spend enough time measuring distances… we figure it’s time to see if we can actually hit one. 😂

Our team may know their boundaries, bearings and benchmarks, but when it comes to the longest drive, we’re hoping nobody needs to stake out the landing zone! 📐🏌️‍♂️

25 Years Later, We Remember. 🇺🇸

For some, September 11, 2001 is a memory—one that still feels vivid. A day we remember exactly where we were, who we were with, and the moment we realized our world had changed. For many, looking at the New York City skyline today still brings a sense of loss as we remember the towers that once stood there.

For others, 9/11 is history—a story they learned about in school, a moment that happened before they were born.

But whether it is a personal memory or a part of history, it is a memory worth honoring.

Today, PMP Consulting Inc. remembers the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the countless people who showed extraordinary courage, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

25 years later, we remember, we honor, we will never forget. 🇺🇸

Recently, our crew was on site in Millis, MA, documenting existing conditions for a survey project. While working in the field, they came across something pretty interesting — U.S. Army Corps of Engineers boundary markers!

These markers are a great reminder of the unique details our surveyors encounter while working in the field. You never know what you might discover when you’re taking a closer look at a property! 👀

From documenting existing conditions to identifying important boundary evidence, our crews are always paying attention to the details that help tell the full story of a site.

Last week, the PMP Consulting Inc. team was out in Easton, MA completing a boundary reconnaissance to help establish and verify existing property boundary evidence.

From field research to identifying monuments and site evidence, our surveyors work carefully to piece together the information needed for an accurate understanding of a property’s boundaries. 📐🌳
