It’s that time of year again! Carl Guild and Associates is thrilled to announce their community scholarship program for local high school seniors entering college in the fall.

There are six $1000 scholarships given, one each in East Hampton, Portland, Colchester, East Haddam, Glastonbury and the RHAM district. There are no restrictions or qualifications, all local seniors can apply!

We are so fortunate to have such support from the local communities for so many years and it is incredibly rewarding to be able to give back, with the scholarship program we can reward some truly deserving students!

I want to thank everyone who donated to my Back to School Fundraiser! It’s so important that our Teachers feel appreciated and supported during the school year, and I’m happy we could be a small part of that! Thanks to you guys, each 1st Grade Teacher at Valley View School in Portland will be getting disinfecting wipes, a pack of pens, a pack of pencils, personal hand sanitizer, a pack of Crayola markers, crayons and colored pencils, an Amazon gift card, and some other small goodies (seen in the photos.) Last years School Supply Donation day was so successful, I wanted to do it again! But this year, I’d like to donate Amazon Gift Cards to the 1st Grade Teachers at Valley View School in Portland! There will be three new 1st Grade Teachers this year, and this would be a great way for them to get exactly what they need to kick off a successful school year! Let’s show our educators how much they’re appreciated, and help get their wish lists cleared!!
