Hiring Real Estate Agent | Everything you need to know



Okay, so you’re thinking about hiring a real estate agent and want to know what to ask, right? Hold up, before you start scribbling down a list of questions, take a sec to think about what you’re looking for in a realtor.

Do you want a casual, easy-going agent to hang out with, or someone a little more buttoned-up? Do you want to sell your house faster than a rollercoaster or are you in no rush?

Once you have a good idea of what you’re looking for, it’s time to move forward! And here are a few questions to ask your potential realtor:

✔️Can you tell me a bit about yourself and the kind of real estate work you usually do?
✔️What’s your strategy as a buyer’s or seller’s agent?
✔️What’s your average list-price-to-sales-price ratio?
✔️Can you give me three references to call?

Once you’ve found the perfect agent, it’s time to start thinking about your mortgage. First stop? Getting your mortgage pre-approval, so you’re ready to roll like a boss. Let’s do this!
