For many of us living in Westfield, we have ALL enjoyed the beautiful grounds and amenities of Stanley Park. It truly is a very special place and today we wanted to celebrate its co-founder, Catherine O'Brien. Miss O'Brien was a phenomenal community leader, savvy business executive, and someone who was truly respected by so many of her colleagues, coworkers and employees. She started as a associate of the Fuller Brush Company and teamed up with Mr. Frank Stanley Beveridge in 1931 to create Stanley Home Products, a very successful direct sales company. Miss O'Brien donated the land where her house sat which now marks the beautiful Japanese Teahouse. Catherine was "...gracious lady and a cherished friend..." and we will never forget her work ethic, passion and courage. Thank you Catherine for inspiring us, then and now! We will never forget you!
