Yesterday, returning home and wanting to avoid Tunbridge Fair traffic, I decided to take Whitney Hill Road. Vermont back roads are wonderful. You absolutely never know what is around the next turn. In any event, as I reached the top of Whitney Hill, a beautiful round red barn appeared on my right. Of course, I had to stop and put up the drone for an early fall photo. Again, you can see that the trees look healthy (good sign) and are beginning to change color.
Hope you plan to get out this fall and visit some Vermont color on the hundreds of back roads that are available.

Upstairs, in “the pink room” of course, works in conversation with each other include (on wall) Elise Whittemore’s “Remember When” (2021, woodcut, thread) and Robert DuGrenier’s “Copper Encasement” (2015, handblown glass, copper wire).
These pieces hover ethereally above the Kent’s pink-painted wide floor boards in this gallery room of the old brick tavern.
