During July , EPA Region 3 highlights the significant cleanup work throughout the Region that has led to unique reuse and redevelopment. The Delaware Valley Works Facility in Claymont, Delaware is a 100-acre former chemical and pesticide manufacturing site on the Delaware River. Following remediation of the South Plant parcel of the property, a real estate development and investment firm, D2 Organization completed construction of a 240-car railyard, currently under a long-term leasing agreement to a thermoplastics polyolefins and biopolymers producer. The railyard is part of a 71-acre master plan developed by D2 that aims to spur economic activity by revitalizing underutilized industrial property. D2 Capital Advisors, a D2 Organization Company, is actively seeking a commercial real estate analyst confident in underwriting and executing debt and equity transactions for acquisition, construction, bridge, and permanent financings. The analyst will be responsible for supporting senior leadership throughout the financing process including sourcing, structuring, and closing transactions.

In this role, the analyst will gain hands-on experience in working on a variety of property types with a mix of CRE professionals. In addition to working with developer and investor clients, the analyst will manage relationships with regional and national lenders, life insurance companies, debt funds, CMBS, agency lenders, and private capital.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of commercial real estate finance and be proficient in financial modeling through Microsoft Excel. This opportunity is for self-starters looking to broaden their commercial real estate financing and development experience.
