Happy Sunday!!!Today, I visited Black Coffee ATL and was greeted with more than just a delicious brew. The vibe was super cool, and to my surprise, the owners had written a message on my coffee cup. It was simple yet so powerful, perfectly timed to lift my spirits. 🌟

It’s amazing how a small act of kindness can make such a big impact. That little message was exactly what I needed—motivating, encouraging, and a beautiful reminder that positivity can be found in the most unexpected places. 💫

Sometimes, it’s the little things that leave the biggest impressions. Grateful for these moments and for the people who make them happen. 🙏❤️

City of Atlanta Launches $10M Tax Relief Fund for Senior Homeowners

The City of Atlanta has launched a $10 million Anti-Displacement Tax Relief Fund to help senior homeowners struggling with rising property taxes. Managed by Invest Atlanta, this program covers tax increases over a base rate for up to 20 years, with participants chosen randomly.

The first round of relief will go toward 200 homeowners, who must meet the following requirements:

*Be age 60 or older
*Have been a City of Atlanta resident since 2015
*Live in one of the 65 neighborhoods identified for the pilot
*Have no encumbrances attached to the property
*Have a clear title/ownership
*Be actively enrolled in a qualifying homestead exemption program
*Have a household income of 60% of the area median income (AMI) or below

I attended a porch concert (yep, at a local resident's home on the back porch) tonight in the TriCities area and it was amazing! We sat in the backyard under a canopy of huge trees.🌳 The star of the night was Okorie “Okcello” Johnson. His masterful cello 🎻 playing, combined with a techie technique called looping (Google it!), created a symphony of sound that made it feel like a full orchestra was performing right before us. The rich, soulful tones of his cello was 🔥! This was truly a magical experience! ✨ I’m definitely going to catch more of his performances! Tri-Cities, you rock! 🎶
