I went to the East Point Community garden March meeting yesterday.

Now I’m out here about to buy a container and some local zinnia seeds like I know what I’m doing 😂
Crazy excited though.

But for real… I enjoyed the people the most.

Met some folks who just moved to East Point
and some who’ve been here for decades.

Neighbors in the same room, just talking and sharing.

Loved the energy. I love where I live.

I pulled the February market data for the 30344 (East Point) zip code and y'all.. I had to share this. 👀

Here's what the numbers are saying right now:

Median sold price: $232,250 — up 10% from last month
Homes closing at 94.9% of list price — up 1%
Median days on market jumped 40% month over month

That last number is the one I want you to pay attention to. Buyers are still out here and they're still paying close to asking, but homes are sitting a little longer than they were. That's the market shifting, and it matters if you've been thinking about selling.

Happy Sunday!!!Today, I visited Black Coffee ATL and was greeted with more than just a delicious brew. The vibe was super cool, and to my surprise, the owners had written a message on my coffee cup. It was simple yet so powerful, perfectly timed to lift my spirits. 🌟

It’s amazing how a small act of kindness can make such a big impact. That little message was exactly what I needed—motivating, encouraging, and a beautiful reminder that positivity can be found in the most unexpected places. 💫

Sometimes, it’s the little things that leave the biggest impressions. Grateful for these moments and for the people who make them happen. 🙏❤️

City of Atlanta Launches $10M Tax Relief Fund for Senior Homeowners

The City of Atlanta has launched a $10 million Anti-Displacement Tax Relief Fund to help senior homeowners struggling with rising property taxes. Managed by Invest Atlanta, this program covers tax increases over a base rate for up to 20 years, with participants chosen randomly.

The first round of relief will go toward 200 homeowners, who must meet the following requirements:

*Be age 60 or older
*Have been a City of Atlanta resident since 2015
*Live in one of the 65 neighborhoods identified for the pilot
*Have no encumbrances attached to the property
*Have a clear title/ownership
*Be actively enrolled in a qualifying homestead exemption program
*Have a household income of 60% of the area median income (AMI) or below
