Meet Ron and Christine
We have lived in the Puget Sound area (Port Orchard, Kitsap County) since 2002. Drawn to the area by its majestic beauty and opportunities for outdoor fun on the water, we particularly love boating which is possible year-round. There are not many places on earth where you can take a boat out into an inlet and watch an Orca pod frolicking in the waves. I was born and raised
in England. My early years were spent constantly on the move with my family to various Army duty stations. We lived in Germany, Malaysia, and Australia. I met Ron in Dunoon Scotland. Our first date was at the Sir Walter Scott memorial in Edinburgh -we were married a year later. Once in the United States I went to Brown University and later became a Satellite campus Coordinator and Advisor for Hawaii Pacific University. I became a Real Estate Broker in 2003. Ron was raised in North Dakota. He enlisted in the Navy after high school and went into the submarine force. During his naval career he travelled to South Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, and Israel. Upon retiring from the Navy, he became a process improvement manager at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. After many years of government service, he decided to work for himself and joined me in real estate. Together we have 17 years' experience in the real estate industry. Our Values
Integrity--we are very upfront and honest with our clients. We strive to protect their interests at all times--we have even talked clients out of buying homes/areas when we knew they would not be happy there. Active listening and communication--we listen carefully to what our clients need and want and guide them along the path to achieving their goals. We provide expert advice but ultimately the client always makes the final decision. As a team we are more available to our clients than an individual agent could be. We encourage questions and firmly believe there are no “stupid” ones. Diligent Advocacy--we pay careful attention to all legal paperwork. We also act as “project managers” to make sure that all the phases and moving parts of a transaction are explained to the client and executed correctly, so that their purchase and/or sale goes through as planned. This includes negotiating vigorously but fairly with other parties on their behalf. Education--Not only do we educate our clients about all aspects of the market we also make sure to keep our own professional education up to date. Laws are constantly changing (I swear our contracts expand exponentially each year!). We make it a priority to stay abreast of the changes and understand them thoroughly, so that we can advise and protect our clients. Expertise
We focus on providing real estate services in Kitsap, Pierce, and Mason counties. Christine enjoys listing properties for sale. All our listings receive state- of- the- art photography, drone footage (where appropriate), virtual tours, and hyper-local community videos which highlight amenities of the immediate area e.g., hiking trails, parks etc. We also organize staging and cleaning services where needed. Christine recently received John L Scott's Exceptional Properties designation for listing higher value and luxury homes. Ron is primarily a Buyer's agent. He loves negotiating especially in multiple offer situations. As a team we received the 2021 John L Scott President's Gold Award for production.
