Last week, we closed on a very special property! Anne and Al walked into my open house in Holbrook last summer and while they were not a fan of my listing, they asked if Iā€™d help them find something else. They had been searching for 2 years, to no avail. They told me that they did have a house to sell in Hicksville but that a family friend would be handling that transaction (bummer)! Weeks later, they asked if Iā€™d come take a look at their property to offer my opinion, although they had no intention of using me as their agent. At first, I grappled with going, figuring Iā€™d be wasting my time. I decided to go anyway and wound up establishing a connection with them that earned me their business, over someone they knew for years and was in the business way longer than me. This is a story Iā€™ll take with me for years to come because it shows that compassion, service and human connection are paramount. Anne and Al, thank you for choosing me to handle both your sale and purchase..may your move out East be filled with happiness and relaxation!
