Here are five smart items to add to your fall homeowner to-do list:

🔥 Schedule your furnace or HVAC service
A seasonal checkup, fresh filter, working thermostat, and clear vents can help keep your home comfortable when you need the heat most.

🍁 Clean gutters and downspouts
Remove leaves and debris, make sure water flows freely, and confirm downspouts direct water away from your foundation.

🪟 Caulk and seal drafts
Check windows, exterior doors, and areas where pipes or cables enter the house. Sealing visible gaps can help reduce heat loss and improve comfort.
