On Wednesday December 18th, employees from the Widewaters Group volunteered at the Salvation Army Christmas Bureau, helping 100s of local families obtain food and gifts for their children for Christmas. We love giving back to our community! Happy Holidays!

Today the Widewaters Group hosted our annual Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus at The Craftsman Inn. A beautiful event our employees enjoy sharing with their kids/grandchildren/nieces/nephews. We look forward to the children’s’ overwhelming joy every year ❤️

Pyramid Brokerage Company of just got stronger with the addition of our newest intern, Jake Fox. Jake is currently in his senior year at Arizona State University pursuing his Bachelor's in Business Management and Minor in Real Estate. Happy Teammate Tuesday!

This week we are featuring our Accounting Manager, Karra Mallory. Karra started with us in September of 2020. Karra was promoted from within the company as a Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to her current role in February of this year. According to her previous manager, Alex Berry, “Karra takes great pride in her work here at Widewaters. Even with how fast paced the AP department can be, time and time again Karra shows she can handle anything that is thrown her way. She continues to show how much value she brings to the Widewaters Team. We are grateful to have her as a part of this accounting department and are looking forward to watching her grow within Widewaters.” Karra has a very contagious positive attitude and sees the good in every situation she comes across.

In addition, Karra is actively involved in our community and an avid supporter of Heather’s Angel Fund which is used to help Ovarian Cancer patients at Upstate Hospital. She has a giant heart, giving spirit, and true dedication to succeed in all she undertakes.

Happy Teammate Tuesday!

This week we are featuring our Property Manager, Kate Eberline. Kate started with us in February of 2011. Kate was promoted from within the company to her current role of Property Manager about a year and half ago. Since that time she has approached the job with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm to learn new things. When Kate takes on a project (anything from coordinating an RTU replacement to creating a Five-year Cap Ex budget for 15 different properties), she researches the issues involved and sees the task through to completion.

In addition, Kate is a great representative for Widewaters when dealing with tenants. Her approach is to be fair while keeping the best interests of the company at the forefront of the interaction. We are very fortunate to have Kate as part of our Widewaters family!

This week we are featuring our Payroll Supervisor, Ann McAfee. Ann started with us in July of 2021. Widewaters is very fortunate to have Ann working for us. As the Payroll Supervisor, she deals with complex multi-state payrolls and companies that operate in multiple lines of business. Ann also participates on the Employee Engagement Committee and brings fun ideas to promote diversity and inclusion to the office.

According to Ann’s Manager, Mary DeLaurier, “Ann cares very deeply about her work, keeps up to date with ever-changing payroll regulations, and is always willing to help with projects and learn new tasks. She always has a great attitude and a smile in the morning! We appreciate the level of professionalism that Ann brings!”

Happy Teammate Tuesday!

This week we are featuring our Finance Associate, Nathan Scuderi. Nathan started with us in May of 2021. He spent his last couple of years working out of the New York City market while collaborating with Widewaters colleagues from across various functions in construction, legal, and accounting. He most enjoys his work on activities like acquisitions, sales, financings, and internal corporate initiatives. Nathan recently relocated to North Carolina where he is currently still working for Widewaters while pursuing his MBA from Duke University. He is also engaged to be married and planning a 2024 wedding!

Congratulations, Nathan! You are truly a great asset to the organization and have super things happening in your life and career!
