It’s incredible how much of your life is stored on your phone. I got a new phone recently and [thought] I had lost most of my photos from the last few years 😣⁣
⁣
I had it backed up & it seemed like everything was uploading to my new phone ... then about 10% in, it stopped. Almost all of my photos were stuck in the cloud & I thought I’d never see them again. ⁣
⁣
Luckily, I was wrong 🙏 This weekend — completely out of the blue — that upload finally completed 🎉⁣

So in honor of this miraculous event, I’ll be spamming you with never before seen before & after photos of the ⁣

New followers, new projects & the cutest new team member! Hi everyone 👋 Tim, Corey, Zara & Yazmin checking in! ⁣

We’re adjusting to life with and rolling right along with our next two projects!⁣
⁣
🏚 In true Hill Vision fashion, we’re down to the studs at the 😝 This property *had* extensive structural damage. The rear half of the house sunk a whopping 14” 😱 Thankfully, that’s a thing of the past & she’s being {re}built to last 💪⁣
⁣
We lifted her back up, gave her a new roof, repaired box gutters, new balcony & revamped the floor plans for each unit ✅ Now that we’re done with the heavy lifting —pun intended 😉— we’re on to electric, plumbing and HVAC.⁣
⁣
⁣🏚 Our sweet little Tudor in East Walnut Hills Uplands Historic District may be cozy & quaint but she’s bound to pack a punch!⁣
⁣
This is our smallest house yet, so we had to get creative💡 We moved the back door, closed up one window & resized another. This helped us optimize the kitchen layout while creating the illusion of a larger space via strategically placed windows. Another fun feature? This home will have a rare finished basement & private back yard with garage-top balcony! ✨⁣

Well guys, the has officially come full circle. From the very beginning, we dreamt of love, excitement, laughter & joy filling the home everyday — but especially during the holidays.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When we bought this old house, it seemed it was at the end of its life. Plaster walls were crumbling, the sewer line no longer functioned - there had been no sign of life for years. But the architectural details & countless family photo albums gave us a glimpse of what once was.⁣⁣

With a little love & a BIG vision, this 112 year old house is better than new & ready to take on the next 112 years 🥰⁣⁣
⁣⁣
& the best part? For first time in many years, our beloved four square got to experience life, love & family during the holidays ❤️🎄🎁🥂⁣⁣

Cheers to 2021 & the next chapter for the 🥂 We couldn’t be happier for the new owners to make this brick beauty their home ❤️⁣⁣

When we first saw this property - we knew it had endless possibilities. There were so many directions we could have taken this home. We demo’d it down to the studs & had the opportunity to rebuild however we wanted.⁣⁣

Character vs modern amenities.⁣

Who said it has to be a competition? The plaster walls are now *insulated* drywall but the woodwork went right back where it was intended to be. The custom oak range hood features ripped down casing to tie in with the rest of the original character we saved throughout the house. Original hardwood floors have been refinished and are gleaming once again.⁣

But guess what else this kitchen has to offer?⁣

We LOVE the ambiance created through a home’s original character. Although the was stripped of her original stair system, we still wanted to be sure our buyer feels the intended grand & warm welcome each time they step through the •original• front door.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

When we bought the house, we knew it needed a special stair system. But with so many options— metal, glass, stained wood, painted wood?! — we needed some inspiration for which direction to take it. ⁣
⁣
While cleaning out the house, we stumbled across part of one of the original balusters. It was thee most beautiful twizzler baluster 🤩 Instantly, we knew we needed to model the new off of the old. & so we did.⁣⁣⁣
