Sometimes you donโt just sell a houseโฆ
you help someone close one beautiful chapter so they can begin another. โค๏ธ
This past Monday, a very special client of mine officially said goodbye to a home that held an extraordinary amount of her heart.
Two years ago, she trusted me to help her purchase this property. It had previously been tenant occupied and needed someone who could look beyond what it was and see what it ๐๐๐๐๐
๐๐.
And goodness, did she ever. โค๏ธ
By herself, she poured countless hoursโand so much of herselfโinto transforming this home.
She laid new flooring, painted, remodeled bathrooms, reconfigured the kitchen, framed in a space for the refrigerator where there hadnโt previously been one, created a pantry with slide-out drawers, and painstakingly crafted shadow boxes, trim and so many other special details throughout.
This wasnโt simply renovation.

So when she entrusted me once againโthis time to SELL the home she had worked so hard to createโI knew exactly what that trust meant.
I wanted to take care of her from beginning to end, honor everything she had put into this home, and work tirelessly to get her the very best result possible.
She wasnโt able to be with me at settlement Monday because she had somewhere far more important to beโฆ

While one chapter was closing here, she was settling on her new dream home and beginning anotherโsurrounded by her children.
And THAT is what makes this job so incredibly special to me.
Normally, I would have a smiling settlement picture of the two of us together. Instead, Iโm sharing pictures of the home she poured herself intoโand one very simple photograph of the view she loved so much.
She loved sitting on that back deck watching the deer wander along the tree line, the birds visit and the squirrels scamper through the yard.
It was her peaceful place. โค๏ธ
And somehow, it always seemed fitting that the wildlife was drawn to the home of someone with such a genuinely kind and compassionate heart.
Iโm also so grateful for the new buyer who saw and appreciated the love that had been poured into every square inch of this home. There is something very special about watching a home that meant so much to one person become the beginning of someone elseโs story.
