Our very 1st Galentine’s Dinner was a success. Good food and great company equals an amazing night!!!

🩷 I would like to take this time to say thank you to all that made our 1st Galentine’s Day an amazing night!!!

Thank you to Jessie (see Stanford Services even decorates for events 😉), Shyian Jefferies, Monica Blake Pinder, and Zoee Smith for helping with last minute preparations. Thank you to Shirley Burton Christopher for the yummy baked pineapple and sweet tea!!! Shyian for the strawberries and Oreos!!!Thank you to Monica for the hor’dourves!!! Thank you Tina M. Morrisfor helping with the drinks!!! Thank you to our “very special resident” for making heart shaped cupcakes!!! Thank you Jerry Taylor for more cupcakes!!! Thank you to Erica Hardeo for the cupcake boxes!!! Thank you Dan Newberry for the 3D hearts on the tables and hanging from the ceiling fans!!!

I wanted last night to be special for all of these ladies. I wanted to have a night that was all about them. They truly deserved it. I wanted each and every single one of them to know how much they are appreciated and are loved. Our night started with a great dinner and desserts. We then played games that were hilarious!! Then to top the night off a little karaoke!!! Seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter made everything worth all the hours put in to make this happen it!!!

Please share this info, I know there is a lot of families out there that could use this help when there name comes up on the waiting list. I always better to be on the list then not to be at all.
FYI: Maryland is opening up the Section 8 waiting list on February 1, 2023 at 9am to 5pm on February 28, 2023. This waiting list will be open for the following counties Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Somerset, Talbot & Worcester. Preliminary applications must be submitted online at https://www.waitlistcheck.com/MD1645 Also Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development staff will be on site at the following locations to assist individuals needing assistance completing the application process:
Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
