Meet Perla Riegel: Married to Howard Riegel January 4th 1905, she was the original owner of 214 Spring Garden in Easton PA. To our knowledge, Perla purchased the property next door (at 216 Spring Garden) after her husband’s death in the 1930’s. Perla had the 216 property demolished and turned into a garden. The last picture shows her in her garden, dressed in traditional clothing she bought during her tour of the Orient. Special thanks to Meg and Bernie, our Spring Garden neighbors, for sharing these images with us!
