IF SOMEONE TOLD ME THEY WERE MOVING TO THE LEHIGH VALLEY AND DIDNT KNOW WHICH TOWN IS BEST FOR THEIR FAMILY, I WOULD TELL THEM THIS:
Here’s a breakdown…The lifestyle you want and what’s important to you will determine what area could be a best fit for you. Here are some great options to start your search in the Lehigh Valley area:
1️⃣ Upper Saucon Township: this town has a population of 17,158. The median home price is $410,000.There’s lots of green space, parks and highly rated schools.Very close to the Promenade Shops featuring many designer stores, an AMC Dolby reclining seat theater (yes please! ), and great restaurant options. This town is further into the Valley while also being close to major routes for commuting.
2️⃣ Lower Nazareth Township: this town has a population of 7,017. The median home price is $388,000. This township is north of Easton and is part of the highly rated Nazareth School district. Not far from either downtown Easton or Main Street Bethlehem. Shop at Wegman’s and easily access Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club and much more. This town is closer to the New Jersey border than Upper Saucon Township and has close access to major routes in the Valley.
3️⃣ Palmer Township: this town has a population of 22,325.The median home price is $300,000.Palmer has a great school system and has a suburban feel while being close to downtown Easton. This town is like Lower Nazareth that it has easy access to the same shopping area of Wegman’s, etc. There’s also a movie theater, Longhorn Steakhouse, Orange Theory, Club Pilates and more. Easy access to Routes 78, 22 and 33. And, ppssstttt…it’s the town we picked to relocate to.
4️⃣ Bethlehem Township: this town has a population of 77,069.The median home price is $300,000. The Bethlehem Area School District has an enrollment of 14,000 students across 22 schools. It is a great school system which offers a variety of programs for students. Bethlehem has a historic Main Street.There are great restaurants, shops, outlet shops and Wind Creek.Bethlehem is also commuter friendly being close to major routes.
