If you live in Greeley, this is the perfect weekend for spring cleaning.
Don't forget! Spring Clean Up is THIS Friday and Saturday (April 25-26) from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., rain or shine. It's for Greeley residents only — ID or proof of residency (like your utility bill) is required. All loads must be tarped. NO computers or electronics.
Know before you go:
Site #1: Island Grove Regional Park, west of 14th Avenue and A Street
● Drop off household debris, appliances, furniture, mattresses and scrap metals.
● No organics (e.g., tree limbs, grass, leaves) are accepted at this site.
● Cash, check and credit card accepted. Price varies by vehicle.
Site #2: Greeley Organic Waste (GROW) Center, 1150 North 25th Avenue
● Clean and mixed wood (OSB, lumber), limbs, brush, sod, topsoil, grass and leaves are accepted at $8 per cubic yard. Cash only.
● Tree stumps, drywall, paper or wax-coated cardboard, and painted or treated wood are not accepted.
Site #3: Weld County Household Hazardous Waste facility, 1311 North 17th Avenue
● Dispose of paint, pesticides, batteries, cell phones, fluorescent bulbs, motor oil, and more for FREE.
● Empty containers or containers larger than 5 gallons are not accepted.
