Protect your pets!! PSA for Pet Owners / Parents: If you have an automatic garage door, remember to have your optical eye (photoelectric sensor) for the safety reversing mechanism installed at both sides and no higher than 6-inches from the ground. Federal law requires this maximum height to protect small animals and children (or adults laying down) from becoming entrapped as the door shuts. As always, refer to the manufacturer's instructions for proper installation.

This electrical panel had a lot issues but most alarming was the burn marks and melting at bus bar, probably from poor connections or overloaded circuits. Several breakers were loose and buzzing, a fire waiting to happen! 🔥🔥
It's important to only use breakers rated for use with the panel manufacturer, otherwise loose connections can cause arcing such as this. Inspect the Unexpected!

Before you are ready to go ahead with your roof replacement, how structurally sound is your roof? Are there other issues to have addressed that could affect performance and longevity? There may be more that needs replacing than just the covering!

We have all seen the devastation to property that fires have caused recently. 7 people die a day out of the roughly 370,000 fires that occur a year in the U.S. Most of these could have been prevented by following general fire safety guidelines and preventative maintenance.

Dryer lint is one of these hazards, it's kindling inside of your ducts when not cleaned regularly. I always recommend removing these pest traps for this reason.
