I may not be in my forever home yet.

But watching this back- I feel nothing but pride and gratitude that this is my life.

Kids are happy. Healthy. Outside getting dirty, being kids.

Gardening, raising chickens, rabbits, ponies.
Not inside glued to a screen.

They’re country kids and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Selling rural property in Pierce County, Lewis County or north Thurston County is not the same as selling a house in the suburbs.

The well. The septic. The roof. The outbuildings. The zoning… any one of these can stall your sale, or kill it, if you don’t know what you’re walking into.

I’ve been selling rural and equestrian properties in this area since 2013. I live out here too. I know what buyers in this market are looking for, what lenders need to see, and how to handle the things that make rural sales different from anything else.

It’s easy to only see the finished product in real estate.

The photos
The listing going live
The “sold” sign

But this last week looked a little different.

A few days in Vegas to reset
Coming home and jumping straight into prepping multiple listings
Helping a client with yard cleanup to get their property ready
Getting an off-market deal under contract
Coordinating contractors to get another home ready for market

And in the middle of all of that, we had to say goodbye to one of our horses this weekend, which has been really hard on all of us.

This job isn’t just contracts and showings.

It’s showing up for people in all seasons
Helping them get where they’re trying to go
And sometimes balancing real life right alongside it
