The house did exactly what it was supposed to do.
It held the holidays, the arguments, the first days of school, the graduations. It was the right house for a long time. And letting go of it — even when you know it's time — is genuinely hard. That's not something to push past. It's something to sit with.
But here's what I've seen in conversations with people at this stage: the ones who make the move almost always say the same thing afterward. They wish they'd done it sooner.
Not because the new place is better — though often it is. But because the freedom of it surprised them. Less to manage. More to live. A space that's entirely theirs, set up exactly the way they want it.
If you've been thinking about what comes next after the family home — and you're not sure where to start, let's grab a coffee and talk through it. No pressure, no timeline. Just a real conversation about what your options actually look like.
