Welcome to the first week of our new Home Maintenance Monday series! With fall officially around the corner, now is the perfect time to get your home ready for cooler temperatures before Wisconsin winter arrives.

Here are 6 things to put on your fall home maintenance checklist:

🍁 Clean your gutters - clear out any leaves or sticks so water can flow properly through your gutters and downspouts

🏠 Check your roof for damage - missing shingles, cracked seals around vents, signs of water damage

🔥 Get your furnace ready - change/check filter, make sure vents aren't blocked, check thermostat
