From November 1 to May 1, alternate side parking is enforced from midnight to 7 a.m., even when there’s no snow.

Parking correctly helps keep roads clear, improves safety for emergency vehicles, and speeds up snow removal throughout the city.

300 numbered tennis balls will be scattered throughout River Prairie Park by 4pm on Friday, February 7th. Families are encouraged to go and find the "Rays of Sunshine"!
Starting Monday, February 10th - Friday, February 14th random numbers will be drawn daily at 9am and posted on the Altoona Parks & Recreation page. If you are holding one of the lucky tennis balls, you win!

To claim your prize snap a photo of you holding the tennis ball and post it on the Altoona Parks & Recreation page by 8am the following day!
