Have you taken a close look at your property tax assessment lately? Your assessed value can have a direct impact on what you pay in property taxes, so it’s worth making sure the numbers make sense.

If you recently received an updated assessment, here are a few things to keep in mind:

🏠 Review your assessment and make sure the property information is accurate.
📋 Understand the appeal process — deadlines and requirements can vary by municipality.
📍 Compare local property values to get a better idea of how your assessment stacks up.
💬 Have questions about your home's value? I’d be happy to help pull comparable properties and give you some additional insight into the local market.

A little research now can help you better understand your property’s value and make a more informed decision about whether an appeal is worth exploring.

There are SO many misconceptions out there when it comes to real estate — and some of them could be keeping you from making your next move.

❌ You need 20% down to buy
❌ You should wait for home prices to drop
❌ You don’t really need a Realtor® anymore
❌ You have to renovate before selling
❌ The list price is always the final sale price
❌ Buying or selling takes forever
❌ A nice-looking home doesn’t need an inspection
❌ You should only sell in the spring or summer

The reality? Every situation, property, and market is different. Having the right information — and the right guidance — can make a HUGE difference.

Whether you’re thinking about buying your first home, selling your current one, investing, or relocating, I’m always happy to answer questions and help you understand your options. No pressure — just straightforward real estate advice. 🏠

Thinking about selling this fall? A little seasonal cleanup can go a long way toward making a great first impression on potential buyers!

🍁 Remove leaves from lawns, driveways & walkways
✂️ Trim back overgrown landscaping
🏠 Clean out gutters & remove debris
✨ Power wash siding, decks & driveways
🌿 Tidy up garden beds and outdoor spaces
🪟 Clean windows to let in more natural light
🎃 Add a welcoming fall touch with mums or a simple wreath
❄️ Take care of small exterior repairs before winter arrives

A little effort goes a long way when it comes to curb appeal! If you're thinking about listing this fall, I'd be happy to help you get your home market-ready.

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the incredible bravery of the first responders and everyday heroes who stepped forward on September 11, 2001.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, service, and unity shown on that day and in the days that followed.
