Pre-qualification vs. Pre-approval, what's the difference?

You've probably hear both terms when starting your home search, but they are NoT necesarrily the same thing.🏠

Pre-qualification is typically a lender's estimate of what you may be able to borrow.

Pre-approval generally involves a deeper review of your financial information and puts you in a stronger position when looking to make an offer on a home as opposed to someone who doesn't have that.
