Chris was out of line as a comedian, Jada has publicly gotten emotional about her hair loss struggle with Alopecia for years. This was a jab at someone with a disease.
Will was out of line as a husband, role model, influencer, and apparently as a believer because his emotional outburst took away from the words of God and love he spoke during his speech.
- Was it staged for more views and relevancy?
- Was Will laughing beforehand trying to be cool?
- Did Jada's obviously bothered countenance cause Will to feel the need to protect his wife?
- Did she look at him like "what are you gonna do about that for me?"
- Did Will's trauma from her cheating and telling him that he doesn't love her enough cause him to feel the need to prove himself as a man?
- Did the punch become a slap because it was staged? Or is it possible that in action Will realized he was taking it too far and opened his hand to minimize the damage?
- Was this a plan of the enemy all along because Will was about to win, mention God and love, and the enemy wanted to manipulate his emotions to destroy the testimony of his acceptance speech?
- Is this all a staged and manipulated plan of the elite to cause drama up front to keep the masses distracted from something more malicious taking place behind the scenes (as we've seen in the past)?
People are talking about their broken marriage, mental health, public emotional trauma, who the media should "cancel" and such. There's even a possibility the award will be taken away. But take a look at this photo. This is the real MVP shot we should be focusing on. Men of God came to Will's side to comfort and speak life over him and Denzel gave him a word of wisdom to hold onto.
There's a lot to digest and learn from this. The world will come at you with attacks, but you can choose to respond with wisdom instead of emotion. Nobody can steal your peace unless you allow it. Don't let temporary situations cause you to act against the testimony of what God is doing in your life. You don't have to respond to every critic. Your mouth can block your blessings. And at the end of the day, you are not alone. God will send you godly men and women to lean on in your times of trouble who will hold your hands up when you can no longer lift them on your own.
We can all see the hurt, but let's highlight the healing that came after. 🙏
