We are outdoorsy people who are happiest when we are playing outside, swimming in lakes and oceans and 100+ feet below the water's surface scuba diving. We love traveling the world and seeing how other people live in many other parts of the world. These experiences keep us humble and teach our girls valuable lessons in life. In the long winter months of MN we love downhill skiing, ice skating, snow fort building and snow sculpting. Staying active is incredibly important to me. I enjoy weight lifting, biking, going for walks and eating healthy.

🎉 Some closings hit a little different. It’s always an honor to be a part of selling someone’s home. It’s taken to a whole other level when my clients have lovingly cared for a home for nearly 40 years! The memories, the updating, the history, the blood, sweat and tears that went into making it their own.

To say it was an honor to have helped these two amazing people would be an understatement. All you have to do is take a look at this fun house to know who you’re in the company of. If that doesn’t give it away the 90’s zubaz pants that greeted me at the door when I first met them did!

These two took “copious notes” and followed them almost to the T preparing their house for market and in less than 48 hours their home was sold in multiple offers ultimately closing for $61,000 over list.

This was truly a once in a life time home and exceptionally meaningful to be a part of! Big thank you to Ashley for sending her in-laws my way. It’s been an absolute pleasure!

Don’t make this mistake as a home buyer….

You’ve found the home of your dreams, I run the comps and we find out it is grossly overpriced. Do you…

A. Wait for the sellers to lower the price and then submit your offer?

Or

B. Come in NOW with an offer that is significantly lower than list but is fully supported by the comps?

The answer every time is B!!!

A significant price drop (usually takes $25k to shake up a new buyer pool) will create a situation where everyone who was waiting and wondering on the sidelines will hop back in and compete for the same house driving the price back up. BUT if you decide to jump in before the seller decides to publicly lower the price, your chances of getting it at a lower price are much higher.

14 years ago my husband and I became first time home buyers! The lessons we’ve learned and knowledge we’ve gained is truly invaluable. I am a better realtor and advisor to my clients because I’ve lived through the ups and downs of owning a home for this long. You’ve got a question, I most likely have an answer! If I don’t, I know where to find it. My dad was a general contractor for many years of his life and built many homes. His knowledge far exceeds mine which has made him an invaluable resource for me and my clients throughout the years.

I’m incredibly blessed to do what I do. I don’t take it for granted and I don’t forget what a significant, life changing event buying or selling a home is for so many. It’s truly a privilege and honor to be a part of each and every one of my clients journeys.

💃💃One year ago I started coordinating a monthly mom’s night out as a way to bring our Eden Prairie Community together. It’s a relaxed, no pressure, come as you are kind of gathering. It’s one of my favorite things to do and something I look forward to every month. I am grateful for all of the amazing women I’ve met who have gotten out of their comfort zone and joined me and other like minded women for an evening catered to us moms! A safe space for us to talk about anything under the sun and an opportunity to leave our kids at home. The need was there and it’s been especially fun to see relationships grow throughout the year. Cheers to many more outings in the coming year, ladies! 💃💃
