We are proud of the work we have put in to make LaSalle Plaza a success story, and Katie Galioto from the The Minnesota Star Tribune captured the results. It is worth reading for what it says about downtown Minneapolis generally, not just one building. We’re thankful for the investors and lenders who believed that Hempel Real Estate could elevate LaSalle Plaza into a stronger asset for tenants and the community.

MedCraft Healthcare Real Estate chose LaSalle Plaza over the suburbs. Fifteen Target vendors chose to be a block from their client. Five independent food and beverage operators chose to open on a block plenty of people had written off.

We improved a building but, more importantly, built a community. Our tenants decided downtown was worth it, and it is a real privilege to have them here.

A great afternoon at the ballpark! ⚾️

Yesterday, we had a fun day cheering on the Twins, soaking up the sunshine, and spending time together as a team. We kicked things off with breakfast, company trivia, and a raffle before heading to the game. It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, have some fun, and connect outside the office.

This has become one of our favorite annual traditions, and we’re already looking forward to next year!💙❤️

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for Mezzo Mezzo at The Lofton Hotel! From morning coffee and pastries to Roman-style pizza, cocktails, and wine in the evening, Mezzo Mezzo offers a welcoming space to gather any time of day. While you’re there, be sure to check out the hotel’s newly renovated lounge and fitness center. We’re excited to see these new additions in the Lofton!

Roami has officially welcomed guests to its newly renovated hotel rooms, bringing modern, loft-style accommodations to the heart of downtown Minneapolis. With spacious suites featuring full kitchens and in-unit laundry, plus easy access to the Minneapolis Convention Center and downtown skyway, it’s a great option for both short visits and extended stays.

Yesterday, members of the Hempel Real Estate team - Alex Jagiela, Jake Paine, and Erik Ordahl, had the opportunity to attend the CREDA (formerly NAIOP) Minnesota Classic at Oak Ridge Country Club, joined by Randy Stille from Associated Bank!

It was a great day filled with lunch, golf, networking, and competition. Thank you to CREDA for hosting a wonderful event!
