This designation is more than another credential for me. Itās personal.
Iāve experienced firsthand what families go through when a parentās health changes and the home theyāve known for years is no longer the right fit.
Both of my parents have passed away. I walked through the difficult realities of dementia and ALS with my family, and Parkinson's and dementia with Tom's parents, I understand how emotional, overwhelming, and sometimes heartbreaking these transitions can be.
I understand that downsizing or moving a parent isnāt simply about selling a house. It can mean sorting through decades of memories, making difficult decisions, coordinating with family members, and helping someone transition from the home theyāve loved into a new chapter.
That experience has given me a deeper understanding of what families may be facing ā and a tremendous amount of compassion for the process.
As an SRESĀ®, Iām focused on helping seniors and their families navigate housing transitions with patience, understanding, and a thoughtful plan.
