You guys!😀 This story has taken me two weeks to write because, while it ended in high fivers🙌 🙌with a successful closing, the road to get there was an emotional one.🥹
My friend and her mom asked me to help sell the family home, so I knew we’re already off to a guaranteed good time, even with all that comes with letting go of a house filled with memories.😍
This transaction began with health issues and the desire to get Mom and Dad closer to the kids/grand-kids many states away.
With my desire for the family to be able to focus on nothing but the health crisis at hand, I went to work sourcing and coordinating all the vendors needed to get the house ready for sale. We’re talking about everything: an estate sale, junk removal, house cleaning, home inspection, all the repairs that came from that, professional photos, open houses, showings, an accepted offer and finally…a successful closing.🎉
I was and am eternally grateful for the trust they put in me to get this job to the finish line.🎉 Two major ideas came from this😂
* (kinda serious) The text messages with the clients throughout this process were the funniest exchanges, so much so I’m tempted to publish a coffee table book.
* (serious) This need for a point person and “concierge services” before, during and after a medical crisis will be a major focus with me and my business as families need to be able to focus on the family, leaving me to do what I do best.💪
