“I love it when the client’s plans get a heartbeat…when they move from paper to sticks in the air.” As a four year old, Julie can remember owning every colored pencil, crayon, magic marker in every color available. She and her grandmother drew every day and Julie loved to draw houses, making sure that all of her lines were perfectly straight. She left the small town environs of the family farm with the encouragement of her grandmother, to pursue a degree in Design here in Minneapolis. She’s never looked back.

“I love to meet people where they are and help them get to where they want to be.” She says that growing up in a small town, you learn the importance of connectedness. She measures her success by the close relationships she has built with the people in her life. Over the past decade she’s personally sold over 500 custom design built homes and many of them were repeat customers. A visit to the local Farmer’s Market brings back great childhood memories and also supplies the ingredients she needs for one of her favorite pastimes; cooking and arranging an intimate bistro style dinner party. Julie is just as comfortable in an old pair of jeans, working in her garden as she is catching a plane to visit the great cities of Europe. High energy on the job and laid back at home, Julie’s lifestyle can best be characterized by the lyrics, “A little bit of country and a little bit of rock and roll!”
