During 1981, our company founder, Albert M. McCormack started a real estate practice on Edisto Island, commuting from his office and home in Charleston until 1984 when an island office was established for Sea Island Realty. The practice founded upon the principle of unfailing service to its clients and customers grew and expanded into much larger offices near Edisto Beach in 1987. Continuing its successes, in 1994, we affiliated with a nationally known franchise and shortly thereafter relocated to our present office on Jungle Road, Edisto Beach. Although our offices are in the active beach resort area, we continue a strong bond and knowledge of the historic properties located on the island.
