As many of you know, LuxuryOKC was recently caught up in Meta’s AI sweep and removed from Instagram by mistake. While Meta has acknowledged the error, unfortunately, recovering the account has not been a quick or simple process. I will continue working to recover it, but in the meantime, I wanted to take a moment to share where we’re headed.
When I launched LuxuryOKC in 2021, the name was a natural extension of the business I was building. Five years later, a lot has changed - including the fact that I officially launched my own brokerage, LISTORSHOW®, this spring.
The LuxuryOKC brand grew far beyond what I originally imagined, and I am incredibly grateful for that. I poured countless hours into building the platform-creating content nearly every day, spending tens of thousands of dollars on professional staging, marketing and videography, sharing my work and pieces of our family’s life, and, admittedly, becoming a little too familiar with the algorithm along the way. 😂
But losing the account unexpectedly gave me something I didn’t realize I needed: perspective.
Over the past six weeks, it has honestly been refreshing to step away from the constant pressure of social media and refocus on the business itself. It has reminded me that the most important part of what I’ve built has never been a username or an algorithm- it’s the clients, relationships, homes, and business behind it.
LuxuryOKC also presented a few challenges as the business evolved. My primary market has always been Edmond and the surrounding OKC metro, while the name naturally attracted an audience well beyond that market. I also never owned the LuxuryOKC domain, which made it difficult to fully control and unify the brand.
So, rather than viewing this as an ending, I’m choosing to view it as an opportunity to move forward with greater clarity.
Going forward, the brand will transition to LISTORSHOW®, the name of my brokerage and the business I’ve built.
LuxuryOKC will always be an important part of my story. It opened doors, connected me with incredible people, and gave me a platform I will forever be grateful for. But I’m excited for this next chapter-and even more excited to build something that is entirely my own.

This break has also inspired me to remove my personal profiles from social media. Choosing to spend time building relationships with more 'catch up' phone calls, more interpersonal connection and less time keeping up online. If you notice that my personal profile has been removed, it's nothing personal. I highly recommend you doing the same!
