Francis was adopted from the OKC shelter in 2021.
It was supposed to be her happily ever after.
But it wasn’t. 💔

Recently, Francis was found standing in the middle of the road—painfully thin, with a large tumor on her leg, and nowhere left to go. She was brought back to the shelter, and because the resources needed to treat a tumor like hers are limited, Francis was placed on the euthanasia list.

This sweet girl has already lost so much. She doesn’t deserve her story to end this way.

We want to give Francis a third chance—the chance she always deserved. But we can only do that with your help. She will need veterinary care, diagnostics, and treatment, and every dollar raised will go directly toward giving her comfort, care, and hope.

🌹✨ Yesterday, our hearts broke as we learned about the murder of Renee Good, an innocent protestor, mother, daughter, and partner. The senseless violence and injustice in our country kept me awake all night, grappling with feelings of helplessness. What can I do? Am I doing enough with this little bookshop?
This bookshop is more than just a place for books; it’s a safe space, a third space, and a community hub. While I may not have all the answers, I believe we can take small steps toward change.
That’s why I’m offering FREE postcards until Sunday. ✉️ Let’s flood our representatives with messages about the change we demand. They need to remember they work for US, not just the President!
