What if I told you… even in a world that feels loud, heavy and overwhelming. It’s still possible to build something of your own.

There’s clients rented for years because homeownership always felt too far out of reach. Too expensive. Too confusing. Too risky. Renting felt easier and safer, especially when you don’t know what to expect or where even to begin.

When we got connected, we talked through the unknowns, the fears, the numbers and most importantly how to fully use the VA benefits they had earned but never realized could work power in their favor.

But we negotiated out ever single one of those costs to be covered.

Would you build a home from the ground up while living out of state?

After moving from Tennessee to be closer to family, she trusted me to help bring her vision to life from design selections and updates during construction to the final walkthrough. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen to reflect her, and watching it all come together has been so rewarding. We’ve been patiently waiting since July for this moment today.

Now this great-grandma gets to enjoy a home that’s brand new, covered by warranty, and completely hers. No stress, no surprises, just peace of mind and a new home. Welcome to Oklahoma, I couldn’t have asked for a better client or smoother building process. Happy closing day 🤍

Big news, friends! Modern Living is taking a little pause while I step into an exciting new chapter. ✨

I’ve officially joined The VA Home Team Real Estate, where I’ll continue doing what I love most: helping clients find homes with the same heart, strategy, and care you’ve come to know through Modern Living Group.

This decision came after a lot of reflection and a wonderful opportunity that I couldn’t say no to. I’m so grateful for everything Modern Living has become, because it’s more than a brand. It’s me. And that’s something that’s not going anywhere. 🤍

So while Modern Living takes a breather, the mission continues in a new brokerage, surrounded by an incredible team and even more tools to serve you better.

I kept a lot of my story quiet.

There was a time in my life when everything felt like it was falling apart.

I was going through a divorce, quietly.
Figuring out who I was again, quietly.
Trying to start over — emotionally, financially, mentally — quietly.
And while I had people who loved me, I also felt… incredibly alone.

But here’s what I’ve learned:
There are so many women out there doing the exact same thing.
Navigating heartbreak, rebuilding after loss, facing financial hardship, IVF, medical challenges — silently carrying the weight of it all.

I didn’t have a roadmap when I was going through it.
But I do have a fire in me now to help create one.

That’s why I’m beyond proud to serve on the board of Support Your Local Mother, a nonprofit dedicated to helping moms who are in the thick of life’s hardest seasons.
We offer practical help — like financial support, donated essentials, emotional resources, and most importantly, community.

Because when a mother feels supported, she rises.
And when she rises, her whole world does too.

✨ Our mission: To ensure every mom feels seen, supported, and never alone.
Not just in crisis — but always.

🎉 Our first event is coming up: The Block Party | Aug 16th from Noon - 6pm
We’re collecting donation items, hosting food trucks, and raffling prizes — with 100% of proceeds going directly to local moms in need.
