TIP #39: PAUSE & LOOK AROUND 👀

Before you walk into a property or arrive at your destination, take two seconds to pause and assess your surroundings.

Does anything seem out of place? Is someone present who shouldn't be there or who you weren't expecting? Trust your instincts and stay aware of what's happening around you.

Throughout REALTOR® Safety Month, we're highlighting a few important reminders from the National Association of REALTORS®' 56 Safety Tips—because taking a few extra precautions can make all the difference.

TIP #32: FROM DAWN TILL DUSK 🌅

When showing a vacant commercial property, do your homework before you go. Find out if the property is well lit and whether you have reliable cell phone coverage.

If either of those safety measures is missing, don't go alone—take someone with you to the appointment.

🛡️ QUICK TIP: Know before you show. Check the lighting, check your signal, and bring backup when needed!
