A growing real estate scam known as seller impersonation fraud is surging, with criminals attempting to sell homes and land they do not own. Scammers often target vacant land or properties without a mortgage, using stolen identities and deepfake technology to impersonate the owner. The problem has become so frequent that nearly 1 in 4 title firms reported three or more attempts in the month before the latest survey, up from just 4% two years earlier. In some cases, the real owner does not learn what happened until after the fraudulent sale is complete.

One of my absolute favorite areas in the West Valley is Vistancia. I built a house here and love all the amenities they are building while still retaining the beautiful mountains and desert landscape.

Building a new home can be a complicated process, and having an agent in your corner can make all the difference. Did you know desert bighorn sheep are part of the incredible wildlife found in the White Tank Mountains?

Built for life in rugged desert terrain, these impressive animals are expert climbers, using their specialized hooves to navigate steep, rocky slopes. Their ability to move across the landscape is essential for finding water, food, shelter, and other sheep—especially in an environment where resources can be widely scattered.

As development continues around the White Tank Mountains, protecting connected habitat becomes increasingly important. Wildlife corridors help species like bighorn sheep move safely between the places they need to survive while supporting healthy, genetically diverse wildlife populations.

That’s one reason the White Tank Mountains Conservancy’s Connectivity Initiative works to better understand how wildlife moves through this rapidly growing region and to encourage thoughtful planning that allows conservation and development to coexist.
