We always open the access panels during an inspection—you never know what may be hiding behind them. 👀

In this case, we found termite mud tubes. They did not appear active at the time, but evidence of termite activity should still be evaluated and treated as needed by a licensed pest professional.

And after any repairs? Seal everything back up properly to help prevent future termite entry. 🏠🐜

Fresh paint, fresh floors, fresh finishes… but the air filter? 😬🎨

If you’re going to renovate with the AC running, the least you can do is replace the $3 filter when you’re done. This one was covered in paint overspray!

That’s why we check the little things too. 🔍🏠

Sometimes an addition looks fine… until you see what’s behind the walls. 👀🏠

This area was likely once a porch that was later enclosed, but our thermal imaging scan clearly showed something was missing: insulation. 🌡️📸

That’s why we use thermal cameras during our inspections—to help uncover issues you can’t see with the naked eye.

New construction roof inspection… and WOW. 😳🏠

We usually find a few nails or scraps left behind, but this time it looked like the whole cleanup crew forgot the roof! 😂 After construction is finished, who’s going back up there to clean all of this?

Usually our inspector picks up a few things along the way… but this one was WAY too much. 🔨🧹

Termites may be small, but the damage they cause can be HUGE. 🐜🏠

During this inspection, the wall was so damaged by termites that simply touching it caused pieces to fall apart and holes to form. This is why a WDI inspection matters—damage can be much worse than it looks.

🚨 Installed Backwards!

During this inspection, we found the gas safety valve at the tankless water heater installed in the wrong direction. The arrow on the valve indicates the required direction of gas flow—and this one was pointing the opposite way. 🔍🔥

Small installation details like this can make a big difference in safety and proper operation.

🏠 New construction inspection!

We found a chipped floor tile. Is it a huge defect? Nope. But when you’re buying a BRAND-NEW home, shouldn’t brand-new mean… brand-new? 👀
