PLEASE DO NOT SEND MONEY OR PERSONAL INFORMATION until you have independently verified who you are dealing with.

⚠️ Do not send money by wire transfer, Bitcoin, Cash App, Zelle, gift cards, or other methods that are difficult to recover.

Before making any payment, Google the company, verify the phone number on the company’s legitimate website, and contact the company directly using that verified number.

We are posting this warning because we do not want anyone to fall victim to a fraudulent advertisement.

When something feels suspicious, stop and verify before you pay. Please share this post to help protect others.

🚨 STOP! BEFORE YOU SEND MONEY TO SOMEONE YOU FOUND ON FACEBOOK… READ THIS. 🚨

Scammers are getting REALLY good at creating fake Facebook ads, fake business pages, and even pretending to be legitimate companies.

A few simple steps can save you from losing hundreds or even thousands of dollars:

❌ NEVER send money by wire transfer, Bitcoin, Cash App, gift cards, or other payment methods that are difficult to recover.

🔍 GOOGLE THE COMPANY FIRST.
Search the company name and look for their official website, Google business listing, reviews, and contact information.

📞 VERIFY THE PHONE NUMBER.
If you’re talking to someone through a Facebook ad or Messenger, don’t automatically trust the phone number they give you. Find the company’s official website yourself and make sure the phone number matches.

🚩 If something feels like a scam, STOP.
If they’re pressuring you to pay immediately, the price seems unbelievably good, or they’re asking for an unusual form of payment, take a step back and verify everything.

And remember: Just because it’s a Facebook ad DOES NOT mean it’s a legitimate business.

Take five minutes to do your homework BEFORE you send money.
