Dear friends,

I am proud and humbled to share that I have completed the translation of 11 original manuscripts from the 1750s—documents that open a rare window into everyday life in our beloved Paso del Río del Norte when this land was still part of the Spanish frontier.

These are not just old papers.
They are the real voices of our ancestors — speaking about land grants, faith, family struggles, and survival in an unforgiving desert world.

As many of you know, preserving our history has always been very close to my heart. Holding these original documents in my hands changed me, and I felt a responsibility to make them accessible to our community and future generations.
