2025 was quite a year! Ollie continued with his successful soccer coaching, Alex returned back to California from his years in Sweden, and the tragic fires in Los Angeles took place. We had wonderful trips to the UK, Havasu, Cabo, Cancun, Girona and Tahoe.
Lots of pickleball, and even converted Ollie and Alex to the game - boys were recruited by Andy to join his PB gang. Several tournaments, leagues and fun rec games with great friends. Lots of Birthdays celebrated 🥳, along with fun visits from friends and family overseas. Many holiday celebrations were had with our very dear friends.
Finished the year with a fab time skiing in Tahoe. Looking forward to see what 2026 brings!

Happy Birthday Marcella! A quick bus ride to Hermosa, take in a couple of photo ops, Tiki Kai for a cocktail then Zane’s for dinner. Back on the bus home by 8pm. All in our PJs. Great fun had by all! 🥳🎉💕

A fantastic day with dear friends Andrew and Cheryl. From brunch at The Getty to touring a $25 million mansion in Brentwood with a pickleball court, a somber visit to the Palisades post-fires, and ending with the Menucha lighting at Palisades Village with Rick Caruso.

Time to bid adieu to Nova Scotia 🇨🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍁! The weather was kind yesterday, but this morning brought the year’s first frost and a nippy 5°C by 9am 🥶. We totally rocked the 🎃 trivia quiz at Coldstream Distillery last night - I’m pretty sure we won’t be quite as welcome next time 😂! Now I’m killing time at Halifax International airport - weird to think my UK 🇬🇧hometown self would ever end up here! Waiting for our flight to Philly. We’ve had an amazing time with Alex, Anna, and family, gorgeous scenery, and the warmest people. Summer must be amazing here! ☀️🏞️ Until next time! ✈️ 🇺🇸

Days 3 and 4 photo recap: We were warmly welcomed by Anna’s family for a weekend getaway on Cape Breton Island, at their stunning oceanfront estate. The evening’s entertainment featured Anna’s dad and sister performing at The Red Shoe pub as part of the Celtic Colors music festival. Despite Sunday’s strong winds, we enjoyed an action-packed UTV excursion into the mountains, led by Alex, and a mouthwatering turkey dinner. The following day, we navigated the scenic 185-mile Cabot Trail, stopping at various landmarks and restaurants, and even embarked on a 4-mile Skyline hike amidst heavy rain.🌧️

Photo dump of day 1 and 2 in Novia Scotia - St Andrews, Antigonish. Stunning scenery and colors, plus we arrived in time for Thanksgiving weekend and Celtic Colors. Lovely walk by the river 🍁, a meet and greet with Alex and Anna’s chickens 🐓- Roxanne, Buffy, Tikka and Nando, trip to local Farmers Market, and fabulous Northern Lights show!
