For housing providers and developers in LA , the outcome of the vote has significant consequences for the viability of owning/operating apartment buildings. Thanks to AAGLA for sharing the article and LABJ for proving a balanced discussion regarding the status of landlord /tenant narrative in Los Angeles. While the intention of tenant protections are to keep tenants in their homes, it also makes it difficult for landlords to maintain their properties and disincentivizes investment in new housing.
