Attention Hunter’s Ridge kids: How neat would it be to see your very own police car design on a real police car in real life?!?! Check out the link on how to enter!!

Are your kids (ages 17 and under) looking for something community-minded to do during the stay at home order?

How about a fun EPD design-a-squad contest?

We want to spotlight the artwork of one of our very own on one side of a police squad to promote education. This has been a challenging time for students and teachers and we want to show our support, and what better way than to partner with our kids?

The kids of EPD officers will also be competing to design the other side of the police squad. Once the winners are picked we will work with our sponsors and transform the both winners design into a real life police squad, to be revealed this summer!

Please download this flyer and create your design. Of course, it must be appropriate and the art must show how the police and our community work together.

Please submit your design to Commander Jim Bisceglie at [email protected] by April 22, 2020 at 5pm.

**The winner will be selected by EPD Staff and must be a resident of Elgin.
**If you are unable to print the coloring page please contact Commander Bisceglie for a copy.

With March now behind us, we'd like to share our Pet of the Month to brighten everyone's day!

Our Pet of the Month for March was SIMBAAAA!!
Simba is a sweet 7 month old English Bulldog. He loves going on walks around our community with his mommy and daddy. He is a busy boy who enjoys attending obedience classes on Wednesday nights. Simba is spoiled by a loving mommy and daddy and he loves organic bananas! This handsome boy brightens up the leasing office every time he stops by! We sure wouldn't mind being quarantined with this cutie pie!! Please give this cute wrinkly face a "like"!
