Big Boss Burritos will be hosting their annual Cinco de Mayo block party in the one block area of Poindexter Street from Colonial Avenue to Main Street. Come for activities, music, and fun. The Mills Downtown Bistro is coordinating Mule rides by Randy through historic downtown with Jen & Jim (the mules), starting at 4:30 pm.

From 5:00-7:00 pm at Mariners’ Wharf Park the 2nd Annual Albemarle Area Jazz Band Jam will be happening. Our region's jazz ensembles will each present a short concert program highlighting the best young jazz performers in the area. High school jazz ensembles from Camden High, Currituck High, John A. Holmes High, and Pasquotank High each performing a short concert to showcase their jazz ensembles.

Elizabeth City Med Spa will be hosting their 1 Year Anniversary Celebration at 203 W. Main St. starting at 4:00pm. Come meet the staff, see their beautiful space, and indulge in food and wine from local retailers. TAKE2 Theater Company's Elizabeth City's The Voice Winners & Finalists will be performing LIVE!
