Real estate is about so much more than buying and selling homes. It’s about protecting the rights of property owners, preserving opportunities for future homeowners, and advocating for the communities we call home.
Last week, I had the privilege of spending time with fellow REALTORS® from across North Carolina at NC REALTORS® Legislative Meetings. We expanded our knowledge on the issues shaping our industry and met directly with state legislators to discuss the needs of our communities and the importance of protecting private property rights.
The decisions made in Raleigh have a direct impact on homeowners, future homeowners, housing affordability, economic growth, and the ability of individuals and families to use and enjoy their property. As REALTORS®, it’s our responsibility to ensure those voices are represented and that the real-world experiences of our clients are part of the conversation.
