📍 Yesterday was one of those full REALTOR® days that reminds me how much I love this profession.

💁‍♀️ A Day in the Life of a REALTOR®

✔️ Early morning start jumping right into client work
✔️ Buyer agency agreement sent
✔️ Offer submitted
✔️ Office tasks wrapped up before heading out for the day

✔️ Afternoon drive to the coast for the REALTOR® Summit hosted by the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS®

✔️ An afternoon filled with meetings, networking, and conversations about the future of our industry

✔️ Hearing from NAR Chief Economist, Lawrence Yun, who shared valuable insight into housing trends, economic outlook, and what REALTORS® should be preparing for in the market ahead

✔️ Connecting with fellow REALTORS® and industry leaders from across the region who are working every day to advocate for homeowners and private property rights

✔️ Drive home after a full day of learning and collaboration and checking on another project

✔️ Pizza for dinner because sometimes that’s the right ending to a long day

✔️ Wrapping up the evening with a new listing agreement

💁‍♀️ Real estate is rarely a 9–5 career.
💁‍♀️ It’s early mornings, late nights, constant learning, and always being ready for what comes next.

It has been such an honor to serve as President of Albemarle Area REALTORS® this past year. 💙 It was the most challenging and exciting year, and it truly went by faster than I could blink! While it’s impossible to sum it all up in just one post, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to continuing in 2026 on the Board of Directors as Immediate Past President. 🙏

I am excited to return to the RPAC/Legislative Committee, again in 2026. 🏛️ RPAC plays a vital role in protecting our industry and private property rights through bipartisan advocacy — please reach out anytime if you’d like to learn more or get involved.
