SOLD! 🏡🔑
This closing was a great reminder that being a REALTOR® is about so much more than putting a sign in the yard and negotiating a contract.
When clients are relocating from another city—or even another country—the job often becomes part project manager, part problem solver, part property caretaker, and sometimes even part personal assistant.
For this sale, my seller moved out of the country before the home even went under contract. That meant being his boots on the ground every step of the way. I met with prospective buyers who didn't have agents, attended inspections, coordinated repairs, met contractors at the property, handled payments, checked on the home regularly, arranged cleanings, coordinated lawn care, picked up mail, and made sure everything stayed on track from listing day through closing day.
None of those tasks show up on a yard sign, but they matter.
The reality is that every client's situation is different, and sometimes the greatest value we provide has very little to do with real estate contracts and everything to do with being there when our clients need us most.
And honestly? I wouldn't change a thing.
Being able to fully serve my clients, solve problems, remove stress, and help them navigate major life transitions is one of the most fulfilling parts of this career. It's exactly why I chose this path when I could have chosen almost anything else.
Congratulations to my seller on a successful closing and the start of their next adventure! Thank you for trusting me to take care of things while you were miles away. It was truly an honor. ❤️
