Here's another take on Fat Bear Week!
🐻 Walker's Dream Home
Style: A big, sturdy two-story traditional, maybe 2,800 to 3,500 square feet. Brick or stone accents, wide front porch, mature landscaping. The kind of house that looks established and imposing without being flashy.
Location: Out toward Cecilia or Rineyville, on about 5 acres, set well back from the road. Close enough to E-town when he needs something, far enough away that nobody casually wanders over.
Walker's wishlist would be:
🌳 5-ish acres with mature trees because Walker increasingly values his personal space.
🏡 Long private driveway. You should have plenty of time to reconsider your decision before reaching his front door.
🔥 Large living room with a fireplace, very "patriarch surveying his domain."
🍽️ Big traditional kitchen, because Fat Bear Week isn't won with a galley kitchen.
🚪 Home office/den overlooking the property, ideal for monitoring the younger competition.
🛏️ Huge primary suite with enough room for a reading chair he will absolutely never use.
🚙 Detached workshop or 3-car garage. He doesn't need it. He just seems like a guy who'd insist upon it.
🌲 Wooded rear property line for privacy.
💧 Pond tucked toward the back of the acreage. Walker calls it a water feature. We all know what he's doing out there. 🎣
🚫 No HOA. Walker has spent enough of his adult life dealing with dominance hierarchies. He will not be joining another one.
